What is poultry netting?

An electrifiable, prefabricated portable fence, this netting arrives ready to use as a complete roll with integrated line posts. Weighing less than 20 lbs for most rolls, it’s easy to handle and move. Just add an electric fence energizer and ground rod to create a quick, effective barrier that keeps poultry in and predators out.

How does Electric Fence netting work?

Powered by a fence energizer, the horizontal strands (excluding the bottom strand that rests on the grass) deliver a brief, high-voltage pulse on contact, effectively training chickens and deterring ground-based predators. Electric netting is made up of electrified horizontal strands and non-electrified vertical strands. To avoid grounding, the bottom strand is not energized. Each net includes posts, corner ties, and stakes for ground anchoring, as well as junction clips at each end for connecting a fence charger or linking additional nets. A low-impedance fence charger is required.
